THRIFT FLIP: Eddie Gets an Upgrade

You might remember that I thrifted this plant and planter with the express intent on painting the planter.

The whole “metal with patina” look is not part of my aesthetic.

I wanted to incorporate some more pops of white in my apartment. And I really love the carvings and wanted to do something to make those pop. So, I grabbed some simple acrylic craft paint and some paint brushes:

The paint went on super easily and quickly and I did two quick coats of white, then grabbed the honeycomb color and a tiny brush and went to town on the carvings.

And here’s the result:

I’m loving Eddie’s glow-up!
